Filter Cleaning & Equipment Care in Destin, FL

Circulation is what makes everything else work. When flow drops, the chemicals and the cleaning stop keeping up.

Clean Water Starts at the Equipment Pad

Almost every cloudy pool we get called out to has a circulation problem underneath it. A filter that has not been cleaned in a year, a pump basket packed with leaves, a cartridge that has gone stiff and channeled, an impeller partly blocked. The water stops turning over the way it was designed to, the chemicals stop reaching where they need to reach, and no amount of chlorine fixes it. Owners usually notice the cloudiness long before they think to look at the pad.

We keep an eye on the pad as part of routine service and clean the filter on the schedule it actually needs, which depends on the pool, the tree cover and how hard the system runs. Cartridges get pulled and washed, DE grids get cleaned and recharged, baskets get emptied every visit, and filter pressure gets read so a climbing number gets caught early instead of after the flow is gone. When something needs repair or replacement, you get a straight explanation of what failed and what it costs before any work happens.

Why Choose Us for Filter Cleaning & Equipment Care

Filters Cleaned on a Real Schedule

Cartridge and DE filters cleaned when pressure and flow say they need it, not on a guess. A neglected filter undoes everything else on the service list.

Pumps, Baskets and Flow

Baskets emptied, pressure logged and the pump checked every visit, so restricted flow gets caught while it is still a five minute fix.

Repairs Explained Before They Happen

If something on the pad fails, you get told what it is, what it will take and what it costs. No work gets done before you say yes.

FAQ

Filter Cleaning & Equipment Care Questions

It depends on the pool and how much debris it takes on, but most pools in this area need the filter cleaned a few times a year, and pools under heavy oak or pine canopy need it more. The reliable signal is filter pressure: when it climbs roughly eight to ten PSI above its clean baseline, it is due. We track that for the pools we service.

Yes. Repair and maintenance is in our name and it has been part of the business from the start. We handle pump, filter, plumbing and equipment repairs, and when a part is genuinely at the end of its life we say so rather than charging you to keep patching it.

Not usually, but it does need enough run time to turn the water over completely, which for most pools here is somewhere around eight hours a day in summer and less in winter. Run time that is too short is one of the most common reasons a pool that is otherwise well maintained still goes cloudy. We will tell you what your pool actually needs.
